From Internship to Full-Time Impact: Celebrating National Intern Day at Leidos QTC
In celebration of National Intern Day, July 30, 2026, Leidos QTC Health Services is recognizing a few talented professionals who began their journey as interns and have since transitioned to full-time employees. Every summer, Leidos QTC welcomes a new class of interns eager to learn, contribute, and gain real-world experience. But for many, the internship becomes much more than a temporary opportunity; it becomes the first step in a meaningful career. Through hands-on projects that support Veterans, Service Members, providers and customers, interns develop the skills, confidence, and relationships that prepare them to become the next generation of Leidos QTC professionals.
Technology is at the heart of how Leidos QTC delivers smarter, faster, and more connected healthcare solutions for those we serve. Behind every digital tool, modernized workflow, and innovative platform are talented people who are passionate about solving complex challenges and improving health outcomes. Today, former interns are building successful careers across the organization, bringing fresh perspectives and new ideas to teams spanning user experience design, software engineering, artificial intelligence (AI), proposal development, and beyond. Whether advancing healthcare technology or supporting critical business functions through our Growth division, these professionals demonstrate how internships serve as a powerful pipeline for future talent and innovation.
Behind every career is a story. Meet the former interns who embraced the opportunity to learn, grew alongside experienced mentors, and are now helping drive the future of the company.
Seeing how teams developed strategic solutions and supported programs with meaningful outcomes reinforced that this was an industry I wanted to be a part of and continue growing in.
